Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester and the Martin Richard Foundation are two highly respected Dorchester institutions. Since 2014 they have worked together to make Dorchester, and Greater Boston, a more welcoming and inclusive environment for children of all abilities, neighborhoods, cultures and backgrounds. As we scale programs and activities to accommodate more youth, The FieldHouse+ will be guided by its core values – peace, respect, innovation, support and equity.

The FieldHouse+ will be more than bricks and mortar – it will connect children and families with people and programs that provide critical resources for health and wellbeing. There are 50,000 young people living within a three-mile radius of the Columbia Point peninsula. Over 1,000 students from Boston Public Schools that will directly benefit from access on day one.

The demand for high quality programming for youth in Boston, and across the region, is reaching record heights. In response, this new, fully accessible space will convene and welcome young people from an array of different schools, neighborhoods, cultures and backgrounds. As we scale programs and activities to accommodate more youth, the partnership remains true to its core values – peace, respect, innovation, support and equity.
